To the players

To the players of Wyld Prophets:

With great sorrow I have to deliver an unpleasant message to you all.

Due to real life rearing its ugly head I must abdicate my position as one of the Storytellers for Wyld Prophets. Before anyone begins worrying (as people are sometimes wont to do), I will let you all know that there is nothing wrong and that this is one of the choices that came as a result of prioritizing some things. I start my senior year in two weeks, I'm a double major and I am starting my senior seminars this Spring. Wyld Prophets takes a big commitment to run. Not only does the staff put forth a lot of energy into the plots they run they also dedicate time to driving all the way to Columbus twice a month. Sadly dedicating entire days to the game means I am losing very big chunks of time that I should be spending on other things and trying to juggle all the responsibilities means that I'm not giving any of them a fair dedication. The players and the staff deserve only 110% commitment.

This was not an easy decision to make and I've been considering all of my options for a few weeks now. Sadly the only plans I came up with involved teleportation or winning the lottery.

I've learned quite a bit in my time as an ST and have loved telling the stories we have. It has been a pleasurable experience to work with the rest of the staff as well as the player base.

I'm sorry that I cannot stay on and continue telling fun stories with you.

You'll be seriously missed. I had a blast getting to experience the stories you shared while you stood as one of the STs. I hope I'll find time to get to play alongside you sometime. You've got my email and are free to talk whenever you like.

Jared, my guess is that he won't have time to make that trip down here (since he mentioned it specifically). If I'm wrong, though, -sweet.-

You are correct Everest. The entire issue stems from the fact that the game is so far away from home that the time investment is too great currently.

@Brenden - I will remain active in HA and EM as I have decided I can dedicate one set of weekends to afternoon local gaming.
