Kate is a woman in her late 20s, with brown hair and brown eyes.  Discovered as a Kinfolk less than two years ago, she asks a lot of questions and generally tries to learn from anyone who is willing.  She has the faintest Russian accent, but seems wholly American.  She is a criminologist and private investigator, and spends the majority of her time either studying the Garou or researching some private project.

Kate's brother is Leo Yurov, a Fostern Galliard who serves as a Guardian at a sept on the East Coast, Sept of the Hidden Flame.  She spends some of her time there as well as in Ohio.  She also runs a private investigation firm called LKY Investigations.

She was mated to Brian "Echoes of Power, Eyes Like Knives" Goldfarb, Shadow Lord Philodox Adren, who died in battle.  She and Brian have one daughter, Valeriya, who is also kinfolk.
