The Uktena known as Speaks Dark Truths was a long-time resident of Whispered Oaths. None of the sept's residents recall seeing the Galliard walk, and he was known for his skillful maneuvering of the caern and many of its locales in a wheelchair. For over a year he was the Eldest Galliard, and after the passing of Maurice "Defends-the-Dreams" Scully he held the post of Sept Leader, which was then subsequently taken by Charlie "Stands Alone In Judgment" Boyette.

Joshua was found dead in the evening of Halloween 2010, apparently murdered. Only the upper half of his body was found.
