Moot Game: Sun. April 19, 2009
In case you're reading here and not reading the Wyld Prophets Yahoogroup:
The 4/19/09 game of Wyld Prophets will be hosted at the Park of Roses (Whetstone Park). One of our players is working up directions that will be distributed via the board and the Yahoogroup.
We'll start at noon. If things are still in full swing when four o' clock arrives, we'll wait until things die down before calling game off (but we're obligated to leave the park at dusk).

Truman said I have to come and be pounced upon. I haven't gotten on your guys' Yahoogroups yet, so I am here asking for directions and the like. Also, any folks from Cleveland car pooling down there?

Margaret posted this to the Yahoogroup:
For out-of-towners the directions are very simple...
take 71 south to the Morse Rd exit. this exit dumps you at a light where you will see a burnt out motel.
take a left at the light... this drops you at another light, the intersecting road is Morse Rd.
make
a right onto Morse Rd. and follow it down to High St. at the corner of
High and Morse there will be a CVS and a TeeJay's (restaurant) .
make
a left onto High St. follow this on down some ways, you will pass the
Clintonsville Woman's Center on your right... slow down at this time.
There is a large sign shortly thereafter with a red rose painted on it, this is the sign for the park. make a right.
the
first parking lot is for the library so continue back past the tennis
courts (mind the speed bumps if you have anything that might spill).
the next parking lot you come to will be good for parking, with very
easy access to the shelter we'll be using. also there is a port-a-potty
just across the little walkway.
As for specific preparations
for the moot, Steve and I will be bringing the grill, plastic table
cloth and a limited supply of charcoal. we will also insure said
location by right of "first there privileges"
We ask that
anyone wishing to have something grilled up please bring something to
help the supply of charcoal out... it would be greatly appreciated.
also with only one grill, grill space/time will be limited so the
earlier you give Steve your meat (minds out of gutters please) the
sooner everyone can eat. please be considerate as both Steve and I
would like to play and enjoy ourselves as well.

Chris the Player - we leave in between 8:30 and 9:00 am from Midtown Towers this weekend. I have an open space if you want to travel.

Sounds like a plan. Just PM or E-mail me where Midtown is... I have an idea but sometimes apartment names are really similar, so yea.
Thanks much guys.
