House rule on kinfolk question

I remember the house rules used to include an increase in beginning xp for kinfolk characters. I do not see that now, has it been discontinued (was I spacing?) or is it in another location? I wanted to keep it in mind for any future characters I play. Thanks muchly!

There is no bonus XP perk for kinfolk PCs. There is a 2-pt. discount for the purchase of the Gnosis Merit, but apart from that I do not recall extra points being given.
