Carpool: Columbus to Cleveland

Am interested in going up to Cleveland for either Heartland or Eire Moon (and under the right circumstances, both!)

Thing is...gas is an issue for me. In fact, I'd prefer not to drive at all because my care gets really shitty gas mileage. But if splitting gas costs can be done, I'm willing to drive.

Any one interested or better yet, have an already working carpool I can join? Please?!

I may, also, be in attendance at Heartland Alliance. That might be a thing that will happen.

I would like to try Eerie Moon and go back to HA again, but it's always on the same night as Mage I can go to HA but I need to be back down in time for Mage.

I will be going to HA after all!! Is there a car heading down already, or must I lead the charge? I'll be making an effort to return in time for at least a portion of mage. I have 2-3 seats available, depending on Jewls' plans.

I can drive. But like I said 20 MPG, I hope someone can do better.

In any case, I wouldn't advise trying to do Mage and HA in the same day, or at least getting to Mage on time. Thing is, the drive is doable, but there is NO time to eat, or fill the gas tank or any room for error. I do not relish the thought of 3-4 cranky roleplayers (moi included) being stuck in a car for five hours and going from 9:30 to 6:00 with nothing to eat. CRANKY!!!

We might get better mileage, but it's less space. We have a 2door accord. Just a warning. What do you guys think? And who besides Charlotte is gonna go? Corbin, if you come, we probably will be late, but present, at Mage.

I was considering going up for HA if I can get in on a carpool.

I can fairly comfortably fit five in my Solara. That would knock gas money down to 12 a piece. Yes, it takes a full tank for the drive.

I would be interested in carpooling on Sat. if I can get babysitting-- it would only be 1 as Evu has to work and has mage that evening.

I have no problems kicking in for gas.

There's a site fee for Heartland. I think it's three dollars, but my memory is made of fail.
